Similarly, the first trial batch of CCOARV for human use was produced in March 2006. However 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th trial batches of human vaccine were contaminated and production of 5^th batch of vaccine was successfully completed on 24^th March, 2009. The laboratory has already produced 15^th trial batch of the human vaccine to date. The potency test of the 12th trial batch of human vaccine was tested in Nancy Rabies and Wildlife Laboratory, France and titre was found 3.8 IU/dose. RVPL, also, received some logistic and financial support from Epidemiology and Disease Control Division (EDCD) to produce trial batches of CCOARV for human use.
